JOB SUMMARY
The Office Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of our plant office. The Office Administrator will maintain accurate records, manage interdepartmental communication, and assist the plant manager & management staff with varies office related tasks.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Below is a listing of the job functions this position performs:
- Provide admin assistance to the plant manager, & other management members by scheduling meetings, answering phone calls & managing interdepartmental communication
- Maintain and organize plant documents which include - production records, inventory logs, shipping/receiving reports & safety compliance documents.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees, vendors & customers – addressing inquiries and providing information as necessary
- Monitor office supplies, equipment, & other plant materials. Order & manage inventory for office supplies, making sure supplies are available
- Support plant manager in ensuring the facility complies with all local state & federal regulations.
- Assist with safety meetings, documentation, & OSHA compliance tasks as needed
- Coordinate with HR to assist with timekeeping, payroll preparation & maintenance of employee records. Coordinate with HR to ensure employee information is accurate & up to date
- Coordinate internal & external meetings, plant tours, & other plan events as necessary.
- Perform all other duties assigned by Plant Manager
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and record keeping systems
- Knowledge of basic accounting and inventory management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate or Bachelor’ degree preferred
- 2 years of administrative experience preferably in a manufacturing or agricultural environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle
