Your Impact
We are searching for a highly skilled individual who can work on all product stages from research and
development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to
design and fabricate mechanical / electro-mechanical components of innovation and excellence for the
semiconductor industry. This is a fully on-site position. Applicants must be located near the Coopersburg, PA area.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and
implement) for capital equipment product lines and subassemblies
Design systems and components that meet custom needs and requirements specific to customersConduct experiments methodically, analyze data and interpret resultsQuickly identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problemsAlter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctionsSolicit observations from operators, customers, vendors, marketingPrepare product reports and documentationMaintain Bill of Materials, work instructions and assembly drawings in parallel to each otherEngage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methodsProtects operations by keeping information confidential.Participate in product design reviewsProvide assistance to Technical Support and Service personnel.Requirements
Requirements
Technical Skills :
MUST have a strong design background and have experience with building equipment from scratch.Comfortable with some version control issues and navigating through drawings in different Lan shares.Proven working experience in mechanical engineeringAbility to independently become familiar with issues, prioritize responsibilities and drive solutionswithout direct supervision
Proficiency in 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (Inventor preferred)Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materialsscience etc.
Working experience with fluid dynamics, finite element analysis (FEA), magnetic and thermalmodeling a plus
Hands-on technical experience with fabrication, mechanical assembly and wiring a plusHands-on experience with Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) highly desirableCreativity and analytical skillsAbility to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable mannerMust have good organizational & troubleshooting skills.Computer skills to include Microsoft Office products- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.Education Requirements :
BSME or equivalent Bachelor's degree required.
Experience :
Minimum 7-10 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer for a manufacturing, defense, or semiconductor
related industry
