Job Title: Quality Control Lab Technician

Job Overview:
- Perform and Manage quality control testing of liquid asphalt and emulsions within S&S Terminals laboratory.
- Coordinate and assist quality control with the plants manufacturing division
- Maintain and manage complete record keeping in network system and log books
- Complete and maintain certifications in binder and emulsion technician programs.
- Perform and maintain calibration, certification, maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of lab equipment and facility.
- Cross train and support any department at terminal

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, required
- Associates degree or currently pursuing a degree, highly recommended
- Any higher level of education, a plus
Must pass drug test. Shelly and Sands, Inc is a drug free workplace.

- Good communication, documentation, and observation skills
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Safe working practices in industrial and all environments
- Fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Must be capable of physical labor, must be able to lift 50lbs.
