$98,656- $128,253 minimum starting pay
Job Level: Director

What You Will Be Doing:
This role will work closely with the Vice President of Government Relations to lead a critical, enterprise-wide corporate function that will direct Shelter’s Strategic Vendor Owners, typically Officers and Directors, in their management of Shelter’s vendor portfolio to mitigate risk inherent in Strategic Vendor services and products, to achieve costs savings, to improve operational efficiency, and to enhance collaboration between the company and its strategic vendors.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Typically requires 5 or more years of insurance industry experience.
- Proven analytical skills, highly collaborative mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, strong work ethic, and proven ability to engage, negotiate with, and influence stakeholders.
- Typically requires 6 or more years’ experience in vendor selection and negotiation strategies, managing complex RFPs, and with an enterprise-wide vendor management system.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
