What You Will Be Doing :
Ensure the quality and performance of the Guidewire Insurance Suite by developing and executing automated tests, integrating testing within CI / CD pipelines, and conducting performance testing. This position requires expertise in test automation tools such as GT UI, Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber, and Postman along with a strong understanding of continuous testing in a DevOps environment.
Collaborate closely with development, Quality Assurance Lead, and business teams to build comprehensive test frameworks, identify and resolve defects, and maintain the highest quality standards in software delivery. With a focus on automation and performance, the QA Engineer will contribute to the robustness and scalability of critical insurance functionalities.
What We're Looking For :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
- Proven experience with test automation tools such as GT UI, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or equivalent.
- Experience working with CI / CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into continuous delivery environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Insurance Suite or similar enterprise insurance systems is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, participating in sprints and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
