What You Will Be Doing :
Responsible for coordination and oversight of Facilities and Services administration and operations. Manages and directs activities of Facilities Administration, Food Services, Evening Maintenance, Housekeeping, Contracted Security Services and other outside contractor services involved in Shelter's Home Office campus and / or assigned Branch building projects. Manages and coordinates business projects involving multiple Company departments. Creates appropriate teams, develops action plans, reports progress and leads projects to completion. Responsible for the selection and training of employees and performance of all other personnel related functions.
What We're Looking For :
- Works under minimal supervision and is responsible for communicating with entry level through upper management to effectively manage and direct activities of Facilities Administration, Food Services, Evening Maintenance, and Housekeeping Services.
- Coordinates prioritization of facility related projects, finding methods of reducing costs, improving efficiency, productivity and safety.
- Responsible for monitoring the facility for compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
- Accountable for Contracted Security Services and monitoring security functions of the Home Office campus.
- Accountable for oversight and cost-effective operation of the Shelter's Food Services.
- Accountable for daily operation of departmental personnel, which includes accountability for employee guidance and development, staffing, budget planning, and monitoring productivity levels, adherence to policy provisions, tax and insurance regulations, and evaluating employee performance to provide high level of personal service and contribution to Company profitability.
- Supervisory or managerial experience equivalent to five years.
- Three to five years of on-the-job training in department procedures and operation of Energy Management and NCS Systems, including previous supervisory experience with responsibility of personnel related functions.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
