What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title/Escrow Assistant position at Shelton Title Companies, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Open new client files and contracts
- Assist with preparing title commitments and related documents
- Index real property records and perform title searches
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders for real estate closings
- Assist escrow officers and attorneys as needed
- Assist in post-closing packages and issuance of title policies
Requirements:
· Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
· Detail-oriented and computer proficient
· Self-starter who is able to handle work independently without an abundance of supervision or micro-management
· High school diploma required
· Prior real estate or title company experience preferred, but not required

Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation package including salary, retirement benefits, paid holiday and vacation time, and bonuses. Starting salary will be negotiable based on credentials and experience.
