We are a well-funded biotech startup that has developed a proprietary single cell platform that resolves a bottleneck for immunotherapy. We are seeking a Senior Research Associate or Associate Scientist to join our interdisciplinary team. In this role, you will support routine sequencing operations and contribute to the development of in-house IHC protocols. Responsibilities:
- Conduct a range of next generation sequencing protocols, including WES, RNAseq, and scTCRseq.
- Coordinate patient sample collection and process patient tissue and blood specimens.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of in-house immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining and analysis protocols.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with immunologists and computational scientists to advance discovery efforts and support patient sample characterization.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field, with 3 years of industry experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in processing human tissue and isolating DNA/RNA from diverse sample types
- Proficiency in NGS library preparation and sequencing workflows, from design through execution.
- Experience in IHC staining and gene-expression analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, take initiative, and drive projects forward independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation:
- $90,000- $120,000 (depending on the depth of expertise) 10% performance bonus equity.
