Job Summary :
Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness is looking for a Weekend Scheduling Coordinator to create, maintain and manage schedules for floor nursing staff in an organized and timely manner.
Essential Functions :
- Create and Manage Schedules :
Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, in accordance with center facility assessment. Post schedules for staff at least two weeks in advance.
Communicate with nursing staff regarding their schedules, shift changes, and time-off requests.
Keep accurate records of staff attendance, time-off requests, and shift swaps.
Work closely with nursing home management to understand staffing needs and budget targets.
Utilize scheduling software (where available) to create and update staff schedules.
