Position Details
The Stubblefield Institute Student Intern will lead the student-led civility club, which is a 5-10 hours/week position.
This role involves planning and organizing events, such as Politics & Pizza, Debate, and Civility Awards/prom, including logistics like space setup, speaker arrangements, promotional materials, and feedback collection.
The intern will also participate in outreach activities like the Involvement Fair, First Friday, and tabling before major events, as well as checking in with staff/faculty support on a weekly basis.

Requirements:
- Enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student at Shepherd University
- Skilled at planning and organizing events
- Strong social networking and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- An Academic Junior, Senior or Graduate Student
- Preference given to political science majors
- Experience organizing events and/or meetings
- Strong relationships with department faculty, students, and student groups
