This is a 5-10 hours/week position that involves leading weekly club leadership meetings and organizing club-sponsored events. The student intern will be guided by the club's faculty sponsor and the Listen. Learn. Engage. program manager.
The club's events include Politics & Pizza (3x each semester), Debate (fall), and Civility Awards/prom (spring). Responsibilities include logistics such as organizing space and set up, speakers and partner groups, creating and disseminating promotional materials, and gathering feedback.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly club leadership meetings
- Organize club-sponsored events
- Develop and implement event plans
- Maintain relationships with club members, faculty, and staff
- Participate in outreach activities
