General Summary:
- Through direct reports, oversees all space allocation activities and office moves across Sheppard Pratt.
- Assists with the planning, reviewing and coordination of all Sheppard Pratt commercial real estate.
- Manages and negotiates leases for Sheppard Pratt commercial properties.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Work requires one of the following combinations of education and experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in commercial real estate, engineering or related field plus 5-7 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- AA degree in or related field plus at least 5 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- High school diploma/GED plus at least 7 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Work requires broad knowledge of real estate management including leasing and space allocation. Active commercial real estate license a plus.
- Work requires interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, contractors, and state, local, and regulatory inspectors; supervise, train and motivate plant operations staff; to oversee the performance of service contractors; and to effectively coordinate work with other Sheppard Pratt departments.
- Work requires problem-solving skills sufficient to effectively coordinate, schedule and supervise a wide variety of trades and services and to set priorities.
