Corporate Capital Markets Associate

Sheppard Mullin is seeking a Capital Markets Associate with 1 – 3 years of Corporate & Securities experience. This position is based in New York. At Sheppard Mullin, we train our associates and help them grow as lawyers, and part of that training involves early and frequent work directly with clients. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: '33 and '34 Act matters Capital Markets IPOs and Follow-On Offerings Private Placement Offerings Ongoing SEC Reporting Matters Corporate Governance Exchange Listing Matters The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: 1 – 3 years of experience advising issuers and underwriters on financing (public and private offerings) and ongoing SEC filing matters Confidence managing day-to-day client relationships Strong organizational skills and remarkable attention to detail are required Operating under time pressures and still acting as a collaborative team player while handling and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines is an essential need for this role Admitted to the New York State Bar Qualified candidates must submit a cover letter, resume and transcript for consideration.
