Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking an Energy Associate Attorney to join our San Francisco office.
Sheppard Mullin is a global Am Law 50 full-service law firm with over 1,000 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide. The San Francisco office currently has approximately 100 attorneys who practice in a variety of areas including Business Litigation, Corporate Transactions, Real Estate, Entertainment, Intellectual Property, and more. The Energy Team seeks an experienced junior or mid-level associate to join us in our San Francisco Office. The ideal candidate should have 1-5 years of experience and must be admitted in good standing in California.
This is an opportunity to represent clients in a growing practice and have substantive responsibility and client contact working on regulatory, transactional and project development matters, primarily in the renewable energy sector.

Regulatory matters before the California Public Utilities Commission, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission or other
regulatory agency. - Due diligence for complex transactions on behalf of buyers, sellers, or financing parties (debt or equity).
- Power and energy purchase and sale agreements and other project contracts.

The pay range for this position is $225,000 to $365,000.
