What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem Therapist, Mood Disorders Day Hospital – Elkridge, MD position at Sheppard Pratt?
The Mood Disorders Day Hospital at Sheppard Pratt’s Baltimore/Washington Campus offers a comprehensive continuum of care for adults who require a level of care between inpatient and outpatient. Our treatment team provides six and a half hours of therapeutic programming each day.
What to expect.
You will provide compassionate care to adults 18 . No evening or weekend hours are required.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning, direction, and assessment of the Child and Adolescent Day Hospital program.
- Implementing effective processes for admissions, treatment coordination, and discharge, ensuring seamless transitions and thorough communication with the next level of care.
- Providing supervision and support for the professional growth of program staff.
- Collaborating in developing program budgets and monitoring expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
What we need from you.
- Must possess one of the following Maryland licenses at time of hire:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
- Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience. The pay range for this position is $32 - $40/hr.
