The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between the victims/witnesses and other County Attorney Office personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between victims/witnesses and the prosecuting attorney by sharing information and providing written summaries of communication.
- Inform victims/witnesses of their statutory rights through phone calls, letters, brochures, and referrals.
- Coordinate interpreter and witness travel, meals, and necessary clothing when required.
- Notify victims/witnesses of case status and plea negotiation offers via phone and letter, along with a summary of communication with the prosecuting attorney.
- Assist with grant proposals for major funding sources and participate in desk audits and contact with grant partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Crisis Intervention, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least one year's work experience in crisis intervention or relevant work experience.
- Fingerprinting and required trainings to be completed once hired.
