- Obtain the list of students who are assigned to serve In School Suspension and obtain their homework for them.
- Assist students with homework, give tests if requested, and collect assignments to return to instructors.
- Maintain a quiet study-like atmosphere by moving about the room periodically and checking the activities of all students.
- Enforce In School Suspension rules.
- Keep the Detention Room clean by having students pick up their areas and straighten the room at the end of the day.
- Have students sign in and out of suspension each day.
- Monitor students by having them sign in and out for restroom and lunchroom visits.
- Treat students with dignity and respect.
- Refer behavioral problems to the Assistant Principal.
- Assist in building In School Suspension Packets.
- Distribute, monitor, and collect In School Suspension Packets from students.

Sheridan County School District No. 2 is looking for a positive, professional, and motivated Paraprofessional to join the Sheridan High School team.
BENEFITS: Wyoming State Retirement Pension Program, Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Aflac, Life Insurance, Flexshare Plans, Paid Personal (2 days annually) and Sick Leave (10 days annually).
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day, 176 days per school year. Days off coincide with the school calendar including Christmas, Spring and Summer breaks off.
STARTING WAGE: $14.47-$17.47 depending on experience ($1.00 increase for BA/BS).
REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal
JOB GOAL: Supervise In School Suspension (ISS) students; assist with assignments; organize paperwork concerning assignments, assist in the development of ISS packets, and return assignments to teachers.
