Sheridan Maine is partnering with a leading organization in Austin, Texas, to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing financial operations for a growing organization. The position offers a full-time, hybrid work model with 3 days a week on-site.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:

• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
• Provide insights into financial performance and make recommendations for operational improvements.
• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across the organization.
• Collaborate with senior management to support business planning and financial strategies.
• Ensure the implementation and maintenance of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and process optimization.
• Handle ad hoc reporting requests and special financial projects as needed.

The successful Finance Manager will require:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, US GAAP, and regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
