Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal income tax returns, workpapers, and reconciliations.
- Contribute to the preparation of the consolidated federal tax return, including compiling required statements and managing the e-filing process.
- Calculate and monitor tax attributes for domestic entities, including domestic earnings and profits (E&P) and tax basis.
- Assist in forecasting the annual effective tax rate (ETR) and cash taxes, with a focus on U.S. income tax matters.
- Support the quarterly income tax provision process to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations related to federal income tax accounting.
- Maintain and support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal control documentation requirements.
- Provide documentation and support for tax audits, including responding to Information Document Requests (IDRs).
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation, redesigning workpapers, and enhancing workflows.
- Participate in tax department projects, including those related to tax credits, incentives, and technology-driven initiatives.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Finance.
- 3-5 years of experience in a finance-related area; 2-5 years of federal income tax work experience preferred.
- CPA designation is desirable but not required.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with tax and financial systems, including OneSource, Alteryx, PeopleSoft, and/or SAP.
- Basic knowledge of ASC 740 and related pronouncements is preferred.
- Additional Experience:
- Audit or public accounting experience is a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical capabilities.
