Are you ready to level up in your Accounting career? We're looking for a Senior Tax Analyst who will play a key role in tax compliance, reporting, and planning efforts. This individual will analyze financial data, ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws, and contribute to strategic tax initiatives.
Requirements
- Analyze financial statements to determine book-to-tax adjustments.
- Prepare federal and state corporate income tax workpapers and filings.
- Assist with the consolidation of the company’s federal income tax return.
- Support the preparation and review of S Corporation and partnership tax returns.
- Calculate quarterly taxable income estimates and prepare estimated tax payments.
- Review international tax packages submitted by local country controllers.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting key tax metrics.
- Support income tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Contribute to the preparation of the company’s tax provision under ASC 740.
- Conduct scenario planning and modeling for business expansion or restructuring.
- Research complex tax issues and draft technical memoranda.
- Identify and implement process improvements for tax reporting and compliance.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tax planning initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; a Master’s in Taxation is a plus.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 3–4 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department of a large company.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal corporate and partnership tax regulations.
- Experience with tax compliance, ASC 740, and tax research.
