This position is accountable for managing the account relationship in the designated market for Caliber Collision. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting Caliber Collision achieve their paint department financial and production goals.
The incumbent will work directly with the Caliber Collision Account Manager to achieve the account’s financial and production objectives by devising, implementing and executing appropriate programs and processes to achieve the objectives set forth on an ongoing basis.
The incumbent is also responsible to take a lead role in working directly with the Caliber Account Manager to ensure our programs and processes are implemented across the Caliber Collision locations doing business with Sherwin-Williams.
The incumbent oversees the implementation of “best practices” and procedures across the Caliber locations to ensure consistency, timeliness, and increased productivity.

Responsibilities
- Identify Caliber Collision’s business needs and meet the commitments necessary to retain the business with locations doing business with S-W.
- Ensure that Sherwin-Williams is meeting its negotiated commitments to the assigned accounts.
- Work with the Caliber Collision Account Manager to establish regular communication with the various levels of the assigned account. Develop a regular sales call strategy to ensure that the needs and expectations of the customer are met.
- Continually establish and build relationships with key leadership members within the assigned accounts and the collision repair facilities associated with the assigned account.
- Train local teams on proper procedures related to the ongoing service and support of the assigned accounts.
- Manage reporting of key operational metrics from Sherwin-Williams to the assigned account and to internal Sherwin-Williams teams.
- Ensure that the Caliber Collision locations receive the same level of support, oversight, and engagement from Sherwin-Williams.
- Teach/instruct the branch employees and other S-W support staff the assigned account management plan.
- Be readily accessible to customer for advice/assistance.
- Communicate to customer changes in APL or in new product development, etc.
- Identify potential problems and work with appropriate support network to resolve the issues promptly and correctly.
- Support customer with technical, sales, and marketing assistance as needed.
- Manage processes to improve material management delivering more value to the assigned account and S-W. Analysis of data for body shop efficiency.
- Manage the assigned account through field visits, personal contact (with S-W and the assigned accounts’ personnel), progress reports, account specific SOP’s, the SWAF Constitution and expense reports.

- Incumbent is required to have and to exercise a deep understanding of industry issues and trends, of the various business segments as they specifically relate to opportunities and needs of the customer.
- Communicating with customer’s leadership on specific details relating to all relevant issues, as they expect the incumbent to know their industry, business model strategy and key individuals.
- Provide innovative and creative guidance and conflict resolution.
- Responsible for intervention and problem resolution for issues that are escalated beyond Direct Reports’ authority.

- Must be able to physically demonstrate paint and associated products by utilizing various product delivery systems such as spray guns and other related equipment.
