Food Truck Team Member
The Food Truck Team Member plays a vital role in the daily success of Skald’s food truck and café. A passion for cooking, serving people, attention to detail, multi-tasking, exceptional communication and customer service, and self-motivation are some of the key skills that are needed to succeed in this role.

Essential Functions
Provide outstanding service to all customers.
Representing Skald well by upholding our values.
Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts.
Cook, bake, or grill the food of the day in accordance with set recipes and daily menu.
Be consistent with all portions and appearance per guidelines.
Performing weekly checking (and labeling) food, spices and herbs, utensil, drink, dinnerware, and coffee inventory, in accordance with direction from Food Truck Supervisor.
Communicating with Food Truck Supervisor about low stock and re-ordering needs.
Keeping the waste log up to date.
Opening and closing the till.
Reporting daily sales using the POS system’s log.
Keep the space clean and sanitized in accordance with health department regulations.
Ensure all necessary opening and closing procedures are followed.
Completing Skald Coffee Cafe training.
Working shifts in the Cafe or covering breaks and lunches as needed.
When working in the Café, follow the direction of the Skald Café Supervisor or shift lead.

Role Requirements
Valid ServeSafe Certification – Required.
1-2 Commercial kitchen or food truck experience required.
2-3 years of Customer service experience required.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Learn new basic software programs.
Able to stand for long periods of time in performance of duties.
Ability to work with a team in an effective, professional, and valuable way.
