Description :
VWe are seeking an experienced IBMi / PowerSystems / AS400 RPG Developer to join our Client's team in a hybrid model, with 2 days per week onsite.
Job Responsibilities :
- Serve as the highest-level technical expert and team lead for complex computer applications and initiatives.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of available technology, tools, and existing designs.
- Tackle complex problems that require evaluating intangible variance factors.
- Plan, execute, and act as the escalation point for intricate platform designs, coding, and testing.
- Lead multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts.
- Provide expert technical guidance to programming staff during program development, testing, and implementation.
- Analyze business requirements, design, create, and maintain applications using SQLRPGLE on IBMi / iSeries / AS400 platform.
- Familiarity with Visual Explain and IBMi / iSeries / AS400 platform performance tools.
- Proficiency in IBM Rational Developer for i (RDi) for source, debug, etc.
- Knowledge of source control software (Aldon) on IBMi / iSeries / AS400 platform.
- Prepare detailed design specifications for program development and documentation.
- Utilize technology to provide software solutions for problems of varying complexity.
- Collaborate directly with department users to innovate and improve operations and processes.
- Drive all phases of application development to completion.
