Job Summary :
The Chemical Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting the engineering and maintenance department with various responsibilities at the site.
Duties & Responsibilities : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Participate in risk assessments and evaluate mitigation measures using HAZOP methods.
- Aid in assessing current processes establishing baselines, documenting and interpreting parameters.
- Make recommendations and follow up on improvements to existing processes, new products, and / or parameters.
- Work with the maintenance department to design, test, and upgrade equipment as well as the CMMS. This includes the collection and entry of data.
- Audit and update process documentation across the site
- Execute mechanical integrity, process control, quality, and 5S initiatives across the site
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
