Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to promote overall well-being.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing care plans tailored to their unique needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' conditions or behaviors, reporting any concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care or home health is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet nutritional needs and preferences of clients.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- A compassionate demeanor, patience, and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
