Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, including seniors and those with developmental disabilities such as down sysndrome and seizer disorder. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and companionship.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Support clients in social activities and encourage engagement in community events.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the caregiver and the client.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Foster a supportive relationship with clients, promoting their independence while ensuring their safety.
Skills
- Experience in home care or senior care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of assisted living practices and long-term care principles is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work with individuals who have developmental disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- Competence in medication administration protocols and safety practices.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare healthy meals tailored to client dietary needs.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely when required.
- A background in social work can enhance your ability to support clients emotionally and socially.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
