Job Responsibilities for Center Director.
- Assumes responsibility for every daily operations aspect of the learning center.
- Ensures compliance with licensing/accrediting agencies.
- work closely with our partners for the early Head start and Head Start Program
- Abiding by and enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Communicates in verbal and written format with above-standard quality in composition, content, and timeliness.
- Earns and maintains consistent customer satisfaction, maximizing enrollment potential and minimizing student withdrawals.
- Follows all required management practices and expectations
- Properly on-boards new staff making sure all documents are in place and the new hire qualify for the position.
- Completes parent/child interviews before enrollment.
- Acts as a liaison between teachers and parents to address problems and answer questions.
- Strives to provide a clean, healthy, and active learning environment.
- Ensures efficient and sufficient staff/child ratios are maintained; manages staff schedule.
- Encourages effective, quality teaching by ensuring curriculum is followed, lesson plans are effectively used and child assessment tools measure class activity success.
- Ensures SBC is operating efficiently and in compliance with all policies, state regulations, CACFP and all other regulatory agencies.
- Articulates clear standards and expectations of staff.
- Any other duties as assigned by manager.
- Create a positive, fun and friendly environment for everyone, which includes visitors.

Requirements:
- The applicant must have an associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a Human services-related field or a minimum of 15 credits in Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum of 2 years documented experience working with young children.
-Must be able to obtain or have all background checks which includes, The Pa Criminal background (and if lived out of state in the past 5 years, those clearances as well), FBI finger prints for Childcare employment, Child Abuse, NSOR (National sex offender registry.
-Must Have or able to obtain a current physical and TB test within the last year.
-Must have or willing to get Pediatric CPR/FA
-Must have or be willing to do the mandated Child abuse training
-Must have or willing to get the 10 hour health and safety training before starting.
