Education and Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in private practice management; medical aesthetics or plastic surgery experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s in business or health care administration, or equivalent at discretion of the practice.
- Proven experience in personnel management
- In-depth knowledge of compliance, personnel law, workplace safety, and other regulatory issues
- Proven experience with annual budgets and strategic planning, long-term goal setting and execution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of daily aesthetic practice operations.

Financial Responsibilities
- Verifying charges and credits are correct and properly entered, including provider, unit costs and quantities, disposables, discounts, coupons, and loyalty program credits.
- Prepare financial reports, worksheets, bank deposits
- Maintain practice metric spreadsheets to track key performance indicators.
- Provide direct or indirect approval of practice expenditures within spending authority and work with ownership to appropriately manage operational expenses.
- Maintain adequate internal controls to safeguard and ensure effective use of practice resources.
- Develop annual financial benchmarking analysis and help develop improvement plans.
- Create staff employment contracts, calculate and distribute commissions and bonuses.
- Maintain efficient purchasing system for retail products and medical/office supplies.
Operational Activities
- Supervise administrative and clinic operations, implementing approved strategic plan initiatives.
- Ensure working order of all building systems and equipment. Organize any repairs or maintenance with appropriate third parties. Inform landlord when appropriate.
- Maintain strong focus on improving operational efficiency and profitability of the organization.
- Ensure the entire team has adequate training to provide outstanding care to patients.
- Perform periodic chart reviews, monitor operations for compliance with protocols and policies
- Perform studies/surveys to assess clinic flow and make recommendations to improve practice efficiency.
- Maintain efficient inventory management system for COGS, supplies and retail products.
Personnel Management
- Create and maintain a positive and thriving team culture.
- Monitor and manage staffing levels to ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop and support a healthy team environment among departments.
- Develop and maintain systems to provide continuing education and certification for clinical providers.
- Assist staff in resolving escalated patient complaints
- Address any staffing challenges or issues.
- Coordinate any staff gatherings (holiday party, etc). Provide staff recognition as appropriate.
- Maintain efficient purchasing system for retail products and medical/office supplies.
Other
- All other duties required to develop, manage, and maintain a successful and thriving medical aesthetic practice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
