About the Position
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Operations Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at Shintech, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily supervision to the mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation functions for the maintenance group.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules in collaboration with the Maintenance Superintendent and Engineer.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and supplies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce adherence to EHS and process safety standards.
- Solve complex technical issues and provide guidance to maintenance technicians.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field; High School Diploma/GED equivalent with equivalent experience and background preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a chemical manufacturing facility with direct support of plant maintenance operations; 10 years' experience preferred.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with industry-accepted maintenance standards, procedures, and best practices.
