We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Loader to join our growing team.

Job Overview:

As a Loader at Ship My Car LLC, your primary responsibility will be the careful and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles onto transport trucks and carriers. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload vehicles onto transport trucks or carriers, following all safety guidelines.

Properly secure vehicles to prevent damage during transit, using appropriate tools and equipment.

Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage and report any findings to the supervisor prior to loading.

Assist drivers with proper vehicle alignment and ensure correct weight distribution on carriers.

Perform routine checks on loading equipment (e.g., ramps, straps) to ensure functionality.

Follow company and industry safety standards to prevent accidents or damage during loading and unloading.

Maintain a clean, organized loading area to promote a safe work environment.

Collaborate with the transportation and logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines.

Communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and team members regarding loading assignments.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in loading/unloading or a warehouse setting is preferred.

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with vehicle transport processes is a plus.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a positive work attitude.

Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required).

Working Conditions:

Ability to work in various weather conditions.

This role requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
