What are the responsibilities and job description for the LABELING SPECIALIST position at ShipIt?
ShipIt, shipping 2.7 million orders a year, is here to fulfill, meet, and exceed customer expectations.
We are looking for a full-time, on-site Labeling Specialist, located in Lexington, KY. The Labeling Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all pre-packed orders are accurately labeled and sealed, quality-checked, and put into gaylords ready for shipment on time.
What you will do:
- Complete all orders and tasks on time and accurately
- Confirm that the correct batch of labels is applied to the corresponding pre-packed pallet
- Conduct quality inspections for each box, ensuring that the label is properly applied and every box is correctly sealed
- Ensure labeled orders are in gaylords
- Print shipping labels when needed
- Clean the shipping line and workstation at the end of each day
- Prepare workstation for proper setup at the beginning of end day
- Ensure all supplies are stored and ready for use

- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to stand for long periods at a time
- Able to lift 50 lbs or more

Pay: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
