Shipley is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Manager to join the Finance team at our corporate headquarters in Kaysville, Utah. This full-time position will report directly to the SVP of Finance. The successful candidate will have experience with multi-state payroll, ADP, and health benefits administration.
As Shipley’s Payroll & Benefits Manager, we will trust you to:
· Perform payroll processing – including following multi-state payroll laws and tax reporting, recording payroll transactions in the general ledger
· ADP administrator – ensuring all employee payroll records are up to date and accurate
· Benefits administration – work with our benefits brokers to provide our employees with benefit support as needed, will be heavily involved in open enrollment
· Assist with Time & Expense system – assist employees with time card and expense report questions
· Onboard new employees – track all new hire forms, facilitate new hire onboarding between various departments
· Year-end tax form reporting – ensure W-2/1099s from ADP are accurate, complete ACA filings, manage state income tax payments
· Other duties as assigned – i.e. planning company gatherings, as needed administrative duties
We are looking for:
· Associates Degree in Accounting, or equivalent with military service.
· 3 years of experience with multi-state payroll.
· Strong understanding of ADP
· High degree of organization, allowing for prioritization of multiple tasks with a high attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with all levels of the organization.
