Role Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the hands-on execution of asset tracking, equipment maintenance, and warehouse organization. This role ensures all tools, vehicles, and materials are accounted for, maintained, and deployed effectively to support SES’s large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-On Asset Tracking: Use asset tracking software to check in/out tools, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring everything is properly logged and accounted for.
- Preventive Maintenance & Repairs: Perform basic maintenance on company vehicles, forklifts, trailers, and tools. Coordinate necessary repairs with external vendors when needed.
- Warehouse Organization & Upkeep: Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Material Handling & Equipment Operations: Assist with receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments. Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
- Crew Transition Support: Ensure that crews leave work areas clean and prepared for the next team. Address any outstanding action items or issues.
- Compliance & Safety Adherence: Ensure all warehouse and maintenance operations follow safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience with asset tracking software and logistics management.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to improve processes and track efficiency.
- Proven ability to manage materials, maintenance schedules, and warehouse logistics.
- Strong communication skills for managing internal teams and coordinating with project managers.
· Ability to develop SOPs, reporting structures, and efficiency-improving initiatives.
- Experience in oil and gas construction is preferred but not required.
- Experience in equipment maintenance and warehouse organization.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge preferred.
- Forklift operation experience preferred. CDL is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
