About the Job

This part-time position will involve working with students in grades K-12, providing individualized speech and language therapy sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to support student learning.

You will be responsible for:

• Demonstrating knowledge of content and pedagogy to design effective instruction;
• Developing instructional goals that reflect content standards and high expectations for students;
• Assessing student learning and adapting instruction as needed;
• Communicating procedures and explanations of content clearly;
• Encouraging student participation through questioning and discussion strategies;
• Engaging students in learning and maintaining a suitable pace of instruction;
• Providing adequate feedback to students on their learning;
• Meeting the learning needs of students with flexibility and responsiveness.

Requirements
