Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key advisor to the President & CEO, providing strategic guidance on major gift fundraising and development initiatives.
- Maintain an active network of principal and transformative donor prospects, with a focus on cultivating relationships and soliciting significant gifts.
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of fundraising campaigns, working closely with university administrators, faculty, and staff to achieve philanthropic objectives.
- Cultivate a strong culture of philanthropy, promoting engagement and increasing support for Shippensburg University.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance fundraising efforts, leveraging best practices and professional organizational guidelines.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated credibility and sound judgment in engaging major donors, volunteers, and other key constituents.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading fundraising campaigns.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
