About the Role: Regional Sales Manager, Vesselman
Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:
The Regional Senior Manager (USA) sells VesselMan solutions for drydocking.
The main purpose of the role is to generate new customers and clients through business development activities and to promote VesselMan/ ShipServ / Marcura brand awareness.
VesselMan is a process and project management platform with a vision to deliver
the world’s best digital platform for dry-dockings, technical projects and data
driven repairs. This is an opportunity to join a SaaS scale-up company with global reach.
You will be a key player in transforming the maritime industry into a lean and
professional way of work by providing digital collaboration tools and
standard procedures, providing higher stakeholder value, reduced cost and
ensure compliance.
We are looking for a sales-driven person who shares our vision to convert manual
procedures into a digital format - transforming the way maritime companies
leverage digital technologies.
The right candidate has experience and a track-record from solution selling that
optimises technical processes. You have a solid background bringing credibility
into commercial discussions – preferably from the maritime industry related to
the opportunities for digitalisation and strategic collaboration across the value
chain.
You must be comfortable with management discussions, communicating
business value from utilizing digital technologies and improved ways of work
within asset management, including presentations and product demonstrations.
- Manage the sales pipeline and generate revenue using SalesForce. Provide regular updates on the progresses made to Management and update the relevant software that monitor the sales pipeline cycle.
- Establish customers' needs, assess the relevant services required and prepare the proposal to the customer. Understand the value drivers and negotiate the commercials for the relevant services.
- Liaise with Business Intelligence Team to develop high quality leads following the processes to drive commercial actions.
Qualifications We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent
- 7 years of sales experience preferably within Ship Management or the Maritime industry
- Experience using SalesForce and sales enablement platforms like Outreach.io would be an advantage
- Contacts within the shipping industry would be a definite plus.
- Experience in remote working, working independently and collaborating with teams virtually
- A disciplined, structured, high-energy and self-driven approach
- Self-motived and result oriented
- Comfortable with strategic hunting of new customers
- Experience from strategic solution sales with insight into how business
decisions are being made
- Technology savvy, passionate about digitalisation and digital sales channels
- Service-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
- Street-smart and adaptable in different settings/environments
