Impact
As an Associate Copywriter located in Birmingham, AL you’ll craft compelling copy across Shipt’s digital footprint to acquire new members, engage current customers, and retain Shipt loyalists to foster brand love and success.
While no two days are the same, you’ll write emails, web/landing pages, video and radio scripts, and ads for performance marketing channels (e.g. Facebook, Pinterest, and Google AdWords). Additionally, you might create engaging promotional content for our CPG and retail partners OR collaborate with the social team to craft compelling, platform-optimizing brand stories. All the while, you’ll be an ambassador of Shipt’s voice and tone principles and become a go-to thinker for adapting brand positioning across a variety of channels and positions in the marketing funnel.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. $61,002-$122,110
All other locations:
$50,429-$100,858

What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- You have a year or more of writing experience in a creative environment.
- You have experience working with industry-accepted style guides
- You can collaborate professionally and graciously accept feedback on your creative work
- You’ve got a keen attention to detail, especially when it comes to grammar, voice and tone, and time management.
- You have working knowledge of Google Docs, Zoom, Slack, Figma, and ClickUp.
