Shive-Hattery’s West Des Moines office has an immediate opening for an administrative support/clerical team member.
Description:
Performs administrative work within a group. Must be able to follow established systems and procedures requiring judgment in the selection and interpretation of data. Must be able to efficiently use company computer hardware/software in the completion of duties. Must exercise initiative, judgment, and knowledge of company practices. May do work of a confidential nature and relieve professional staff of administrative details. May also have combined duties of greeting and directing guests entering and leaving facilities, as well as handling telephone duties for incoming and outgoing calls. May perform a variety of administrative tasks of a recurring nature. Performs other duties as assigned. Works under general supervision.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Answering phones and greeting and checking in guests
- Keeping the front lobby area presentable, maintaining office/kitchen supplies
- General office equipment maintenance
- Maintain petty cash, preparation of weekly reports
- VantagePoint updates
- Pool car maintenance, oversee check out equipment
- Back up for off-site filing
- Also responsible for loading dishwasher every night, and light clean up
- Cleaning out refrigerator every week
- Wiping down glass boards weekly
- Any administrative duties as needed
- Prior experience preferred, but not required
- A valid driver's license
