Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes to produce high-quality parts
- Adjust and manipulate existing programs using G&M Codes (proficiency in Mastercam not required)
- Make offsets and adjustments to ensure correct part specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on lathe equipment
- Inspect finished parts using personal measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure they meet blueprint specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating lathes in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of G&M Code programming and the ability to make program adjustments
- Ability to set up and operate CNC and manual lathes
- Proficient in blueprint reading and using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Must own personal measuring equipment and a toolbox
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
- Experience with Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software
- Familiarity with other CNC machine operations
Salary : $20
