Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager who will excel at managing projects, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding expectations. Essential Job Functions:
Review all project documents and develop and manage a plan of action to ensure the successful completion of the project
Manage budgeting, purchasing, quality control, scheduling of trades and other vendors, health and safety, contract labor oversight, compliance (both legal and regulatory), and job progress documentation
Review and release rough-ins and shop drawings
Attend weekly project meetings and communicate up-to-date construction progress and potential issues
Coordinate all aspects of the project with the general contractor and related trades to maintain schedules and implement necessary changes and revisions
Coordinate the need for special equipment required on site
Oversee and manage installers to ensure the quality of work
Effectively manage project details to minimize punch list items
Coordinate and attend equipment demonstrations
Submit all required paperwork (demo sheets, delivery receipts, mechanical lists, etc.)
Ensure safety regulations are closely followed
Work efficiently and be responsive
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities:
Pre-planning skills and a strong understanding of Excel
Experience with commercial construction projects
Attentive to detail, accuracy, and well organized
Cooperative and willing to assist others
Professional appearance and demeanor
2 – 3 years working as a Project Manager or in the construction field and knowledge of AIA documentation is preferred
