Key Responsibilities :
- Champion Safety : Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs that promote a Zero Injury Culture.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Risk Management : Conduct site inspections to identify and mitigate physical hazards and safety risks.
- Incident Investigation : Lead accident investigations and collaborate with external agencies to provide insights for corrective actions.
- Emergency Response : Assist with directing the Emergency Response Team, providing tactical oversight during emergencies and drills.
- Program Oversight : Oversee specific safety programs such as lockout / tagout, mobile equipment, and medical surveillance.
- Training & Awareness : Provide clear and effective training on safety policies, hazards, and emergency procedures.
- Continuous Improvement : Support environmental initiatives, audits, and the implementation of ISO standards like 14001 and future 45001.
