Main Responsibilities
- Before executing orders, set up production supplies in preparation.
- Safely and effectively operate equipment for production processing.
- Ensure daily maintenance of equipment to keep it in good and safe working condition.
- Work under the guidance of the supervisor to perform and complete assigned duties on time.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company policies during equipment operation.
- Participate in waste management programs daily.
- Immediately identify and report any unsafe operations to the supervisor.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized throughout the day.
- Undergo regular reviews of daily output by the manufacturing lead or supervisor.
- Perform cleaning tasks for equipment as needed during daily operations.
- Escalate any issues that occur to Senior Manufacturing Operator or above.
- Assist with and complete training on Document activities in manufacturing batch records, NBR’s.
- Assist with and complete training on SAP functions.
- Support a collaborative working environment.
- Must be flexible to work a variety of schedules to meet business needs.
- Read HMI screens on equipment to operate the equipment.
- Work with QC Inspectors to provide samples.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 2 years’ manufacturing experience required, preferably in an FDA regulated or similar environment.
- 1 year’s experience in SAP preferred.
- Quickly adapt to new directions or new responsibilities as needed.
- Knowledge of cGMPs in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA, and NFPA guidelines for safe practices.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting problems with equipment, identifying solutions, recommending, and implementing methods, procedures, and/or techniques for resolution.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Understanding and following written and oral instructions.
- Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Need to be extremely organized, logical, and methodical.
- Able to lift up to 45 lbs boxes and work in refrigerators for short periods of time.
- Knowledge of SAP systems is a plus.
- Able to work Monday to Friday 1:00 PM- 9:30 PM, flexible to do OT.
