Position Overview:
We’re looking for a results-driven, highly organized Sales Director to lead and expand our wholesale channel. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales—preferably in the cannabis ancillary space—with bonus points for experience working with vaporizer brands, smoke shops, or head shop distribution. You'll be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing accounts, onboarding new partners, and optimizing the entire wholesale sales process from prospecting to close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow Focus V's wholesale sales pipeline, identifying new B2B opportunities across dispensaries, smoke shops, distributors, and head shops.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring long-term success.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including monthly/quarterly goals, promotions, and outreach initiatives.
- Represent Focus V at trade shows, industry events, and partner meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, fulfillment, customer support) to streamline processes and ensure a smooth wholesale experience.
- Maintain and optimize CRM systems and sales tools for accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Track performance metrics and report regularly to leadership on key KPIs, wins, and areas of opportunity.
- Recruit and manage additional wholesale reps as the program scales.
Qualifications:

3–5 years of sales experience in the cannabis industry or a related consumer packaged goods space.

Strong preference for candidates with experience in the ancillary cannabis industry, especially vaporizer brands or smoke shop product lines.

Proven success managing B2B accounts, hitting revenue goals, and scaling sales operations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with high autonomy.

Passion for cannabis culture and deep understanding of industry trends and buyer behavior.

Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), spreadsheets, and email marketing tools.

Must be based in the U.S., with willingness to travel occasionally for events and trade shows.
