Reports to Retail Director
Job Summary – The Retail Summer Seasonal Manager’s role is to provide oversight and leadership in the operations, assist with training, and serve in our retail store(s) with a desired outcome of positive customer experiences, positive and inspired morale of team members, and added value to the organization via efficient and safe operations.
Summary of Essential Functions
- Assist the Retail Director or Retail Manager with training and daily assignments.
- Manage aspects of the retail inventory process such as receiving, pricing, and stockings and coffee bar, and 2.0.
- Maintain positive vendor, guests, and team member relations
- Assist in utilizing reports to help maximize efficiency and achieve margin and sales goals.
- Be able to create and stick to established routines and schedules
- Be confident sharing, communicating, and implementing ideas to improve the retail department.
- Assist in the training the sale of Summer Recreation Ticket project build and assist with managing the E-com site.
- Learn aspects of the Guest Experience department and be able to give direction and input when needed.
- Help maintain clean work environment.
- Assist in maintaining and creating the best practice policies and procedures.

Job Related
- High School Diploma Required and College Degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience preferred
- Experience in Coffee Bar operations a plus
- Experience in leadership preferred
- Willing to obtain First Aid/CPR and Serve Safe Certifications.
Physical
- Must be able to sit or stand at a computer terminal for up to 12 hours a day
- Must be able to operate a computer and desire and ability to learn many different software systems.
- Must be able to drive on and off campus.
- Must be able and willing to learn how to operate Espresso machines and other basic appliances.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to follow Safe food safety practices.
- Flexible availability required (days, nights and weekends required)
- Excellent Communication skills via phone, email, and in person.
