Your MISSION: :Lead and manage defined products that exist and are being maintained by Shockoe teams while proactively bringing new ideas to existing accounts to support the maintenance and growth of Shockoe clients.
Responsibilities: :
Responsible for the overall Product definition and understanding of key design and technology decisions of the engagement
Ensure Shockoe engagements meet the mark for client needs in new and/or unstructured environments that require more complex definition and discovery
Scope and negotiate new engagements for Shockoe team
Write, synthesize, and storytell with data
Create and deliver analysis and presentations to C-level stakeholders
Strategic presentations on recommendations and impact analysis
Cost and ROI analysis on proposed efforts
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and lead client discussions around product vision and user objectives
Actively work with clients and their stakeholders - discovery, goal setting, solution presentation are all part of the product process you’ll drive
Identify and solve problems for clients that can utilize the suite of Shockoe services
Identify and deploy measurement tools via product analytics, produce dashboards and synthesize reports for client stakeholders and internal needs
Prioritize and iterate on products with client needs and product strategy
Build a shared understanding of product goals and requirements among all stakeholders (internal and external)
Aggregation of product launch and engagement data to inform iterative product development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iteratively build solutions that are in line with time and budget constraints
Distill and communicate complex business requirements to stakeholders and engineers via clear user stories and functional requirements
Collaborate with design leads to create user experiences that drive outcomes
Propose and drive process improvements to existing processes and tools so that Shockoe’s Product practice remains impactful and progressive
Stay up to date with industry best practices
Mentor other Product and non-PdM team members on best practices
Other job-related duties as assigned
Competencies and Experience: :
4 years experience within product ownership, UX strategy, and/or product management in a consulting environment
Thorough understanding of project management principles, client relationship management, and software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
Demonstrable understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience defining and documenting product requirements
Project experience that includes planning for: middleware considerations, technical architecture and the flow of data
Experience developing materials for and executing the product discovery process of: customer interviews, surveys, and planning research and workshops to inform and drive product direction with little oversight from Senior Product team members
Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams of Designers, Technologists, Marketers, Project Managers, and Analysts
Experience leading stakeholder requirements, user discovery, and ongoing product iteration
Experience delivering analysis and presentations to C-level stakeholders
Experience analyzing mobile app analytics data to affect data-driven design decisions
An understanding of user-centered research principles and how to apply those user insights
Ability to draw insights and implications from reporting and business intelligence tools such as Firebase, Adobe Analytics, MixPanel, or similar
Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation and workshop facilitation skills
Adept at writing, synthesizing, and storytelling with data
Working knowledge of mobile technologies and development practices
Quick learner and ability to adapt to new projects with minimal supervision
