Job Title: Marketing Specialist – EMS/SMS and Affiliate

Job Responsibilities:
- This role requires hands-on involvement and a willingness to dive deep into the projects.
- Campaign Management: Plan, develop, and execute email, SMS, mobile push notifications, and in-app messaging campaigns for domestic markets to drive retention, revenue, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Lifecycle Campaigns: Build and manage campaigns including welcome series, referral rewards programs, shopping cart abandonment emails, and other lifecycle automations to engage customers.
- Process Optimization: Continuously optimize the email and SMS production process, leveraging both internal and external resources for efficiency.
- Affiliate Programs Management: Prioritize growing sales revenue through our existing affiliate partnerships while also recruiting new affiliates to expand our program.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with current affiliates to enhance loyalty and productivity.
- Identify and onboard new affiliates to further expand the program.
- Verify affiliate commissions to ensure accuracy and transparency in payments.
- Develop and manage incentive programs that motivate affiliates to increase sales.
- Utilize affiliate tracking platforms to manage and monitor affiliate activities and performance.
- Stay informed of market trends and identify new opportunities for affiliate growth.
- Performance Reporting:
- Monitor campaign performance by analyzing key metrics Including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, revenue, and unsubscribe rates to assess effectiveness.
- Track, analyze, and report on affiliate performance to ensure continuous improvement.
- Customer Insights: Use customer data and analytics to improve communication strategies, including segmentation, message timing, and personalized offers.
- Collaboration: Work with creative, merchandising, and vendor teams to ensure alignment between marketing content and campaign goals.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate in managing third-party vendors and external partners to ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in email and SMS marketing.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline campaign execution and reduce complexity.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in email or digital marketing within an eCommerce environment.
- Proven experience in affiliate management, sales, or a related role with a focus on partnership growth, Experience with an affiliate tracking application or platform is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience with ESPs (Email Service Providers) and building list segmentation, workflows, and triggered campaigns. Knowledge of Klaviyo, Yotpo, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics for tracking campaign performance and making data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in email best practices, including subject lines, deliverability, targeted messaging, and compliance with CAN-SPAM/anti-spam laws.
- Copywriting skills: Able to write clear, error-free, and engaging copy tailored to different campaigns.
- Basic HTML knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting emails and improving templates.
