Position: Ice Cream Shop Team Member
Location: 18 Center Street Folly Beach, SC
Hours: Flexible, including evenings and weekends
Compensation: $12 tips (each shift splits tips)

About Us:
Who doesn’t love ice cream at the beach?! Shoobies is your go-to spot for delicious soft serve, hard scoop ice cream, and freshly made waffle cones right on Center Street! We believe in creating a fun, family-friendly atmosphere while serving delicious, sweet treats. We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our growing team and make Shoobies a Folly favorite! Hours of operation during peak season will be 11am-11pm. During non-peak, we will be closing a bit earlier. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer designated parking but there is free street parking on Folly.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet and engage with customers, ensuring they feel welcome and appreciated.
• Assist customers with self-serve soft serve and serve hard scoop ice cream with a smile.
• Prepare fresh waffle cones and maintain product presentation.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure food quality.
• Be a team player.

What We’re Looking For:

• Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Must be 16 years old.
• Previous food service or retail experience is a plus but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
