POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer experiences by creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers through their eagerness and sincere willingness to help, in-depth product knowledge, high brand awareness, and efficient execution of operations and various aspects of customer service.
· Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
· Process customer sales transactions and returns in accordance with established procedures.
· Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, special sales, other sales inventive programs.).
· Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
· Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.
· Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and are treated with respect.
· Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
· Clean up the work area at the end of the shift.
· Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
· Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 40 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour), and less heavy items numerous times per hour.
· Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 5 hours) standing or walking.
· Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
· Ensures Accountability in self and others
· Instills Trust by consistent setting and achieving high standards
· Possesses a high degree of decision-making abilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Store is open 7 days a week
· Hours are 8:30 AM to 7 PM
· Shifts are 8:30 AM to 2 PM and 2 PM to 7 PM
· Or
· 8:30 AM to 7 PM 4 days a week
· Or a mixture of these times
· We conduct background checks of all employees
BENEFITS:
· Hourly wages start at $13 per hour and increase based on experience and performance
