Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our retail team. The Stocker plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are organized, stocked, and readily available for customers. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, assisting with product displays, and ensuring the store is clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with products in an organized manner, ensuring proper placement and visibility.
• Assist customers by providing information about products and helping them locate items within the store.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to move stock from storage areas to sales floors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock areas and sales floors.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy items safely.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or low stock items to management.
• Package products for display or sale as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to create attractive product displays that enhance customer experience.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, promoting sales through effective communication.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or stock management is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a wider range of customers.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for managing inventory and sales data.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts while maintaining safety standards.
• Experience using pallet jacks or similar equipment is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
