Water Sports Attendant

Position Summary:

The Seagate Beach Club is currently looking for a Water Sports Attendant. The Water Sports Attendant provides beach and equipment rentals for our club members, guests of the Seagate Hotel & Spa, and other guests. This position is responsible for ensuring only paying guests are utilizing the equipment and keeps these private areas clean and in safe condition. The Water Sports Attendant also ensures guest safety by communicating hazards and immediately contacting lifeguards and management in the event of serious injury.

Responsibilities:

• Greets people in welcoming courteous manner
• Prepares and issues rental equipment in proper format
• Ensures only paid guests are utilizing the equipment and private beach area
• Ensures areas are safe and clean
• Communicates with guests of inclement weather conditions and unsafe areas
• Contacts lifeguard and management in case of emergency
• Provides superior customer service
• Practices high standards of professionalism while interacting with team members, management, owners, members and guests

Physical Requirements/Other

• Ability to work in extreme outdoor temperatures.
• Work long hours when necessary and be flexible with schedule.
• Be able to work weekends and nights and holidays as necessary.
• Stand and walk for extended hours. Lift, carry and push up to 50 pounds.
